sorry but imo those ads are really bad.
what are we talking about? yep, browsers! it's just a browser. do you ever think someone would go so buckwild over a hammer? or over stainless steel nails? don't think so.
unless firefox can read my mind and show the pages i want to see in the near future without touching a button i'd say -1.

If they're intended for TV then I think they need to say what Firefox is, If they're a web viral, then fair enough but I think they will be preaching to the converted in many cases as the people who tend to start the virals are those in the know anyway.

Dont you think the people that know what a browser IS...already have heard of firefox? Why try to explain it all to those in the dark. Plus people will google it anyways. Times are changing.

Yeah, there is something overboard about this whole firefox things... it's being presented like it's some sort of web messiah... it's just another browser getting acclaim by means of anti-microsoft rehitoric (sp). Mozilla was the same already. Make something in the name of open source, spice it up with a little MS hate and let it lose on the web. Chances of success are 1 in 10.
