stream you are totally wrong. Tiger is definitely an OS. Not sure what exactly you mean by that. Find a more stable OS on the planet for consumers.
PC might be faster but its still running Winblows. :)

Seems like you got a lemon dude. Ive owned a few PBs and Ive never had a problem. Greatest machines on earth.
Im telling you, more RAM will work wonders.

yes it is an OS but to me i see as more of an app than anything else since, i cant install any real app to do anything with it..
i am limited to using safari and other cute OSX

yeah it seems like it, Apple wont return my calls.
the stores dont want to do anything with it.

stuff you can use to actually work on it.
i cant run two major apps at the same time.
like browser and sherlock, it makes one of them crash

Dude thats cause you dont have enough RAM. Listen to me man.
OSX needs a minimum of 512MB to run so that means you have nothing left over.
GET MORE RAM and your machine will be much faster and you can run all the apps you want.

Stop getting the requirements for tiger wrong! it 256 min ram req! also ALL of Apples OS releases have been the same price $129 so it's some new low price.
On a side note my G4 PB starts up in about 5sec (i timed it) after i did clean install. YAY!

Yeah 256MB is you just want to install Tiger and look at it. But to really do anything you need at least 512. At least thats how I see it.

im waiting for a few months until there are a few updates before i install. im just gonna sit back and wait to see what happens. but i was in the apple store and they were doing a demo on widgets. hehe

running tiger on a G$ power book, panic when it was first installed as it all went slow, but it turned of out it was just spolight cating my system works fine now, widgets are a waste of time though

might force you to reinstall adobe cs 1 and freehand. bs sure you have the installer handy. works fine here, had no major problems
