launched my new site at the reboot contest (may 1st).

At first glance the animation going into the portfolio is a bit long, 10 seconds before you can interact again, and I think the image with the hammer sort of ruins the heirarchy of information, it is distracting from the actual work. You have a lot of space to work with there, and it feels like the work is jammed up in the corner for me.
Animation on the leaves and vines is nice but maybe increase the speed at which it happens. I like the colour scheme and plant theme too.
Nice photography tho, I am assuming thats you. I think it works for the about me section but not so well in the gallery or portfoli section.

Dude, I think the site looks great, congrats.
A couple of little things. The percentage text when loading work looks a bt funny, it kinda looks like an unembeded font?
The leaf effect looks great, but I would make it faster, people are really impatient.
Lastly with the work page, when you have the bit selected it is covered so you can't read what it is. Maybe have the rollover slightly transparent or somethin'? or the text repeated.
Anyways, hope the feedback helps.

yeah, i'm teaching myself Flash at the moment and just learned all about it when I loaded my site on a pc :)

oh and crit.
- those flowers building up take way too long (annoying too long).
- the view of your work is way too small compared to the rest.
- in the gallery the images are placed quite weird, below the thumbnails at the bottom and over the image of that dude in that chair.

same happens for your work too, sometimes it shows the images right, sometimes it doesn't. could be a typical mac/ie thing. dunno.

that AND the loading counter starts at -214 and ends with 100 and doesn't disappear after reaching the 100%
