curious:
can a vote in Liberal Democrats really threaten Labour without putting Howard in Downing Street?
- kelpie0
So they say, fucken millions would need to though to swing enough seats toward the Tories, I'm not buying it exactly the way the tell it.
- vespa0
i think it will get seats away from labour but blair will still get in.
if the balance is right it will give labour the justification they need to ditch tony.

good luck.

Brown's the new king now anyway, it's been writ large all over this election. I may vote Labour again next time, but not at this one...

i still can't get over the difference between the UK and US elections.
2 days before the US elections ignore lists were bursting, bannings were commonplace and all discussion had descended into baseless personal attacks on character...
CARN YA SLAAAAAGS!!! wheeeere's all the drama? give me vicious rhetoric or give me death!! can't we all stop getting along?

i cant see why anyone wouldn't vote lib, all the policies a fair and sensible, when the sun list them to say how bonkers they are i cant see why anyone could read them and not say to themselves 'what wrong with that?' people who disagree with them (and me) are selfish and rude...
i should be a politician don't you think...
go and do this and tell us what result you got and if you are going to act on it:

(May 4 05, 03:56)they put sedatives in the water here before elections, and pipe whispering messages into your room while you sleep. Keeps us docile and apathetic.

that was a mad time, the us elections. i think i just stayed well away from nt for a week or so. lots of (albeit deserved) anti-yank sentiment. especially in the morning!

Why don't more poeple vote for the lib Dems? They seem to have the most sensible ideas on how to do things.

I had fun in the yankee election threads
I kinda wish our discussions were that "heated"
- kelpie0
the system makes it unlikely they will swing power, and the more it's said, the more it comes true.
Daft really. Constitutional reform needed.
