geek i guess...iv been following longhorn since it was mentioned and documentation began on it. If most of u knew what it will actually do and what its going ot be then you would like it aswell.

the only thing i would liek to see in longhorn is the ability to keep off the millions of spyware bugs that trys to sneak in on the system everytime you connect to the internet.
i'm sure the hackers already have a copy too and working on bugs as we speak!
osx might not have the fancy vector icons and such, but you still don't have to sweep your with system everyday and install adblocking software to keep it running

umm Mac OS has problems as much as any OS iv been on mac forums even here i hear complains... LH security will be better then OSX in my opinion

I own a pc and don't have to sweap my pc for spyware. Be aware of what you are installing and use Firefox, Problem Solved.

the new start menu works way better i really hate dealing with menus, there were other LH screenshots that shows that M$ will make the menu bar and toolbar 1 i like that concept but im not sure what will be final look and what features will be in it, WinFS is slated for 2007 but 2006 will have good search tools aswell but why search when u have stacks.

the preview + details [tag info] panel below is sweet for editing tabs finally no more right clicking for properties windows. Mac OS X interface is so old school in function.

Mac OS X plus XP click item select properties from menu window pops up with edit features.
Longhorn bottom panel Show if hidden click detail edit appears type info. Way easier then Mac.
