because I am only 21, I still need to learn alot about the whole creative business, so my goal is to work for people from who I can learn alot from.
But in the end I would love to have my own business.

jevad, what's up? not happy in the us?

jevad luv what gives? sounds like you need some sunshine...
personally i think the best thing in the universe would be to get signed to a record label who will shell out enuff cash to do music part time and design part time :) I wonder if that will be difficult?

my plan it to be a project manager and stop putting up with dummies. more money and less stress. either that or just quit and be hotdog vendor or start selling drugs

At the moment work is pretty shite and I have been working my nuts off on too much freelance work and crappy contracting just so I can buy a house. Almost coming to the end of that period now and am getting a couple of really good jobs in, more video, more animation the sort of direction I want to go in.
Plus I have just heard about a fantastic opportunity that will happen for me if I work my nuts off for the next 2 months.
It's the first time I have ever had something so good and achievable. It's in my own hands, I just have to work hard and it will happen..

I'm spending a year at this studio to help build my portfolio further and attach a better studio's name to my CV.
Then looking to move to either the NL or the UK for a couple of years.
Eventually probably have my own studio, but that won't be for another 10 years I'd imagine..

Ultimately, own a small farm in Africa. One day I will invite any NTer there for drinks and sundowner braais. I just want good food, drink and warmth from 50 on. Bury my ass in the sand.

I'm based in Sweden and am almost finished a graphic design course. I'm late 20's, and chose to retrain in design, 'cause it's the only thing I've ever been any good at. And I don't even know if I'm good at it yet - I'll know if and when I get a job / clients.
Because of this late change of mind, I'm extremely worried that I've done the right thing (re-training at a point when peers are buying property etc) but I figure that life's too short to not do something enjoyable in the workplace...
My plans? Stop shitting myself; finish this course; get a job in design. That'll do for starters.

lol @ jevad 'recklessly drifting' through his 'void of life'.. a void which entails having a loving wife, pets, a nice house a nice car, a steady job, snowboarding at the weekends and by all accounts pretty much living a modern dream.
poor lad hahah ;)

I am waiting for the skies to feed me the answer. There is knowledge out there just for me, I can feel it. One day it will come to me and then I will know what to do.
This is genuinely how I feel.

rasko i think the skies got my number by mistake. i tried passing them onto you but i'm shit with phones they got lost in the system. anyway they told me to tell you to hurry up and write your goddam book.
- rasko40
thats another thing I am still awaiting 'the knowledge' upon.
Its very close though, I can feel it. There have been many moments of synchronisity recently.

I forgot to mention that 'happiness' is in my plans somewhere as well...
- vespa0
i truly believe that you make up your own rules in life, and that once you decide what you want to do, run as fast as you can in that direction and everthing falls into place. call me a fucken hippy i know.
oi rasko what exactly is synchronicity? is it like obsessive compulsive stuff like turning left instead of right if you see a pidgeon/cat/red car when you leave your flat etc?

Jaz - live in Sweden - am about as Swedish as a whisky soaked Haggis...if ye ken whatahmean...?

I agree with snuggles, happiness is important in your journey to live the life that you want. I live by the day, trying to make the best out of it, because before you know, your life may be over.
Lost some good friends a couple of years ago in a car-accident. These things makes you realize that you're lucky to be here though.

(Apr 25 05, 07:14)aye.. yer a Scottie Ex-pat then isit? at least ye get to look at the blonde bunnies there!

I agree with vespa, you make things happen. If you work hard at it (whatever 'it' is) shit falls into place. It might not be what you wanted exactly but it will work out well.
It's a cliche but you do get out what you put in...
