Can't you just print up another one for your folio? Still sucks that you can't get it back, I'd still showcase that, it was mighty good work.

yeah i could, but it took a long time to print and costs a little bit of money to produce again.
and if i were to print it, there are a few things i would like to change in there too...maybe someday.

West Coast native response that I sought out:
Those I spoke to don't really care about the logo. They are a little bothered by the blaitent appropriation and exploitation of native culture but have come to expect it.
They think that it's odd that West coast culture was such a big part of the Vancouver bid and the logo is Inuit.
They don't think it looks that great but like the ideas that it's supposed to represent.
So there's the good word. By the way there's a huge amount of discorse in the local papers today about how much people hate the logo.
I guess everyone in Van©ity has their too cool hats on. ;-)

personally, I'm not a fan of the lil' "nuk". of course, no matter what the design looks like, someone's going to be a hater... especially when dealing with a logo of this stature.
