logos suck when you try to convey too many ideas withn it's form...
I see what you're saying mp, I just don't see how this logo is accomplishing or not accomplishing those objectives or where past olympic logos stack up to that criteria...

i think the olympics should have always the same logo, instead of trying to benchmark countries and episodes. i konw this is reductive but i've grown up with them for a symbol of everybody across time and countries.
To me, those rings should always be there and nothing more.
and I know most people feel the same about it. that's a damn fine logo.
