I fucking hate Dell. Bought a computer from them 4 years ago and now all I need is a letter saying that my account has been closed and I have a zero balance. I need this letter for a refinance on my house.
First called them on March 29th. I've been promised the letter 3 times now and still havent gotten it. Their phone system is horrible, I get dropped during transfers, transfered to the wrong dept.
I fucking hate them. Michael Dell can suck on my nuts.

Seriously I just got dropped again...I'm calling the number one more time before I start booking flights.
This last time I'm going to tell them not to transfer me again...to physically grab a supervisor.

OMFG they transferred me without telling me...if this call goes to the wrong place again then thats fucking it.

idp. if you closed the account you should be fine.
when the mortgage lender brings up your credit report every card you've ever had will be on there. if it is closed it will say 'closed by consumer, amount paid in full' which is good. that's what they want to see.
if an account is open it will say it's open and how much you owe (which isn't a big deal) and how much you CAN owe. this is the big deal. i had a discover card with a couple hundred bucks on it but a limit of 11,000. creditors see this as a potential 11,000 dept. sure i'm ok now but i could go to vegas, run it up and screw myself.
i don't htink you need the closing letter but i'm in illinois, not sure about nevada.

Thats the problem kOna...these idiots at Dell still show my account as being open. Even though its been closed since last May.
They still show me owing nearly a grand even though they actually owe me 60 bux. But fuck if I'm going to waste my time calling them for my 60 bux.

oh, and my dad owns a dell. he had a tech support issue with them a few months ago, so he calls (i was in the living room) and he went through 3 dudes before he got one that he could understand enough (they didn't speak english very well) to have him transfered to someone that spoke english.
i never heard my dad yell like that before. ever. i'm 30. it was kinda surreal.

hahahaha I'm going insane.
They transferred me to a 'supervisor' who can't even access my account.
Now shes transferring me to a dept that I know can't help me.
This is like bing on a raft in one of those water parks that just keeps going round and round.
