i lived in toronto where the best hill to us was 3 hours away and only fuckin 350' elevation.
i fuckin hated it, but instead of bitching on a design board about it i packed my bags and took off... i didn't know what to expect other than epic shredding and that's all that matteredto me.
grow some nuts and do something about your situation if you hate it so much... otherwise shut up please as this is the first thread you've started to just to bitch about how bad you have it.
oh, and those jersey waves in that clip are bigger than anything i've ever surfed on the west coast... so you were saying?

NJ is one of the better kept secrets in surfing right now. I know plenty of people from NJ that claimed better barrels off a jetty in hurricane season than on trips to costa rica, and these are guys that surf religiously.
Oh, and Rockaway Beach is breaking 6ft and clean right now.

i'm in san diego man, i would if i were back home. the surf here is kinda small right now, but i got in some waves early this morning. little 3 foot mushers, but fun.

yeah its like that for most of the summer. fall and winter go off though...especially at the reefs. sunset cliffs will hold 18-20ft in december.

Sure. But I still think it's colder here. Many sources say that Ottawa is the second coldest capital city in the world , (after Ulan Bator). Which doesn't seem to be right, but I guess it is.
I seem to have forgotten how cold it really was this winter. One of the coldest yet.
