I was born on the wrong coast....I am now addicted to surfing vids.....GREAT.......I LIVE IN NYC......WHERE THE BIGGEST SWELL IS ABOUT 1 FOOT HIGH....unless its winter...... and swimming in coney island is like swimming in an obstacle course between the plastic bags, cans, driftwood......and even dead bodies.
So now I wallow in my self pity....and you can hear it ..... From the documentary....Step into Liquid for your listening pleasure.

So now I also love snowboarding and the closest mountain (ha!) which is about 600' high is about 1.5 hrs away cause I am addicted to boarding.... Powder day...yeah right the only way we get a powder day is if we brave conditions that could get you killed driving to the "mountain" for about 2" of snow....

if you tell me that all ti costs is a plane ticket I would like to know the rest of your plan.....cause I sure as hell wouldnt have one.... I dont have any friends on the west coast to stay with.....

stoned yes but both earning money in similar fields, how do you buy you food and pay your rent in NY? work. You can work here too, we don't mind :)

i grew up surfing in NJ, lived there 22 years, surfed for about 9 of them. There's plenty of surf August - Nov. and April through May/June that deosnt require a 5/4 wetsuit and a hood. Do some research. BTW, San Diego is blowing up with web design right now.

liquid, if you're in NY and you don't love it, get the hell over to california. you don't have to live right at the beach. that's too expensive. it's not expensive to move though. just sell everything you have and go to IKEA when you get here. you'll have a sore thumb but you'll have a furnished apartment.
