I lost $1800 because of paypal. That company is corrupted

that site is also a big advertisemnet for another company, similar to paypal.
I hope they aren't jacked, I'm waiting for a $500 deposit to clear.

There are good alternates to paypal and the competition is tough as it is, why would they do anything like that, they know its harming their image, they would loose customers like crazy and fold up in to time
Paypal is making good money on taking 4 something % of every transaction. If they choose to suspend your account they may have a reason for this

As I said the competition is tough, you dont know what kind of people are behind paypalwarning.com

paypalwarning.com links to this site as a good alternative to PayPal
Compare its html code to the source of paypalwarning.com itself

What made you think the PayPal email was legitimate?

At PayPal, protecting your account's security is our top priority. Recently, PayPal members have reported suspicious-looking emails and fake websites. These emails are not from PayPal and responding to them may put your account at risk. Please protect your PayPal account by paying close attention to the emails you receive and the websites you visit.
Please use the following tips to stay safe with PayPal:
Safe Log In: To log in to your PayPal account or access the PayPal website, open a new web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type in the following: https://www.paypal.com/
Greeting: Emails from PayPal will address you by your first and last name or the business name associated with your PayPal account. Fraudulent emails often include the salutation "Dear PayPal User" or "Dear PayPal Member".
Email Attachments: PayPal emails will never ask you to download an attachment or a software program. Attachments contained in fraudulent emails often contain viruses that may harm your computer or compromise your PayPal account.
Request for Personal Information: If we require information from you, we will notify you in an email and request that you enter the information only after you have safely and securely logged in to your PayPal account.
Often, fraudulent emails will request details such as your full name, account password, credit card number, bank account, PIN number, Social Security Number, or mother's maiden name.
If you think that you have received a fraudulent email (or fake website), please forward the email (or URL address) to and then delete the email from your mailbox. Never click any links or attachments in a suspicious email.

i think this only happens to people with creditcards, or who get credits from Paypal itself.
i am just the most basic paypal member, i only spend the money i have and only put it there via bank transfer and never have more then 200 euros on it at a time..
never had any problem at all.. even switched email addies..
i don't really understand all the negativity. it's been very helpful for a non-creditcard owner like myself..
sorry to hear that hough..

Here's my experience with paypal, this is from a posting I made 3 months ago:
I sold a laptop on ebay for $1800, sent the package to the Philipines, and now the buyer filed a dispute, and paypal took my $1800 back even though my laptop was has shipped already! Wtf!
After that, they held some of my other money in the account on hold because it was under investigation. I had to go out of my way to prove my address, fax over my drivers licence, utility bill among other things.
After I faxed over my documents, I had to call paypal repeatedly and they said they never received a fax and TOLD me to fax again.
I waisted numerous time on hold talking to paypal on the phone disputing with them, and half the time they were in pissy moods as if they get complaints on a regular basis.
So whoever is supportive of paypal, Fuck You.
