greedo, i was actually thinking of doing it myself...
but it still sucks that its the only way you can get tix. i remember the good ole days where you could walk into fenway in the 7th inning and watch the rest of the game for free... (granted, this was when jodi reed and carlos quintana were playing for the sox, but still)

i have to confess that i didnt watch the celts at all before the walker trade. i went to a few games at the flee...erm, the td banknorth garden, but that was just cos it was something to do on a random weeknight. but when we got walker back i flipped right back into celtic mode. and i agree on jefferson, lotta promise. also, ricky davis has been a pleasant surprise. i personally think the celtics will only make the next big step when they trade pierce. he just doesnt fit anymore...

the price printed on them was $495 a piece.

what's up gorbie. yeah, that's obscene. it's a full scene at those games too. i think there's a lot of people in town with too much disposable income and nothing to do, people who inbetween trips to tahoe and the city need to get their fix with the kings. their fanaticsm is almost cult-like, especially middle aged women who wear fannypacks.
with that said, there are a ton of young nectars who attend kings' games too. if you time the halftime smoking section just right, you might be able to get chopped up, if you don't mind some blonde tender doing it in a bibby jersey.

theres a halftime smoking section? thats awesome. boston has really cracked down on the shit. you cant even smoke under the bleachers in fenway anymore. the only place you can have a butt and watch a game is at gillette.

Man... I went to their pre-season game against the D-backs on friday night... they looked pitiful.
... and uh - last night's opener didn't look much better.

yeah, well, you still have to go outside, but there's a nice little balcony upstairs. i'm a poser though, because i don't ordinarily smoke cigarettes, but sometimes, with a few too many ketel ones and tonic, i have to go in to full lurk mode.
