Wipeout XL was my first Playstation game. I have fond memories of techno pumping and amazing graphics and tDR at 6am on Christmas morning.
- fate_redux0
...so I can't wait for Wipeout Pure.

I wonder how much this thing can be upgraded and developed further somewhat like pda device or anything that can get www, email, contacts etc.
Of course, still be able to play neat games.

Pinionist, well Sony already sent out software upgrades for a browser and mail client I believe. Plus with a memory stick you can port your own programs if you can develop them. looks dope.

Guys from my work showed me this gadget and I must say that I haven't seen such a good screen in mobile consoles. It's cristal clear even in daylight, and analog stick is cool too.
When I have to wait for clients for online video work I just borrow from them PSP and beats a new record and I must say that it's damn cool. I guess even cooler than ps2.
I've heard that there would be browser and email client, any real info on that? how does it look?

What about Europe? When, when, when??

in june vorm, in june :(

shite.
why the US first? They invaded iraq, not us...damnit.
it's not fair. damn japanese.
- clerk0
i find the reason for the delay hard to take.
"the european launch is being sacrificed so Japan and the US can have extra stock."
almost thinking of a ds instead...

My PSP is set up so it can update it's software wirelessly through my Airport, it's pretty cool.
It can also double up as a network finder, you can just scan for wireless access points from the Network Settings and connect to them!
Just order yourselves one off eBay from Hong Kong, you can change the settings so all the displays are in English. The games and system are region free so you'll be able to play games from any country. The only difference is in the bowser where circle accepts instead of x.

no, but it is 802.11 wi-fi enabled, and has an infrastructure mode that allows you to play with people around the world with no cables or anything
5 games will launch with this feature, including twisted metal
