they used novocaine on me and then had me inhale some random gas for a bit. i was completely conscious and aware for the whole thing though...
it all depends on your preference. i am a control freak and i preferred being able to see what was happening. so, its up to you.
also, i work for myself, so i need to go back to work. my boss is a real asshole too :P

today, it was my turn to get them removed. 3 pulled. i just got back home. i can't feel my mouth yet.
it wasn't a big deal. though it was a little disturbing to see a doctor having hard time pulling out the 2nd tooth.

Dude. Just go to the dentist, he prob won't take em out anyway. A surgeon will.

I had to get four out before getting my braces in 6 years ago. I was conscious the entire time, so I could hear the snap, cracking, and popping. Apparently I have really strong teeth.
Just this past December I got my 4 wisdom teeth out. I was unconscious for it, and I really couldn't remember how I got home. It was pretty painful and I ended up being allergic to some of the antibiotic medication. And then found out that I was actually throwing up because of the dried-up blood that needed to get out of my system. So after throwing up every 3 hours on day 4, I was pretty much feeling better after that.

I got gassed, didn't remember a thing. Woke up with a mouthfull of gauze and blood though.
Did I mention the drugs are good?

My teeth hurt so much after the wisdom teeth operation. I asked my dad to go and get some more painkillers but he refused. I had to tough it out.
