I had to get four out before getting my braces in 6 years ago. I was conscious the entire time, so I could hear the snap, cracking, and popping. Apparently I have really strong teeth.
Just this past December I got my 4 wisdom teeth out. I was unconscious for it, and I really couldn't remember how I got home. It was pretty painful and I ended up being allergic to some of the antibiotic medication. And then found out that I was actually throwing up because of the dried-up blood that needed to get out of my system. So after throwing up every 3 hours on day 4, I was pretty much feeling better after that.
