So I walk my dog every day down the same road and lately a cat on the street has jumped at my dog (german shepherd) twice and tried to claw his eyes out, my dog is on a lead when it happens and because he is huge and the cat is small I always stop him from attacking the cat but the more I pull the dog away the more aggressive the cat gets, last night he took a slice of skin and fur off my dogs jaw.
I told the owner to keep her cat off the street but she just says her cat has a right to be there but I argued that my dog has been cut twice now by the cat and if it happens again I’m gonna let my dog off the lead and let nature take its course, she lost it and said if that happened that I’d go to court and get fined.
My question is, is it fair that its ok for her pet to maul my dog just cause its smaller (she seems quite proud that her cat is brave enough to take on a shepherd, even though the shepherd has the disadvantage of being pulled off the cat by me)
I’m seriously considering letting my dog off the lead if it happened tonight.
Thoughts...?

watch out - pussy can kill

nah, don't think it's fair at all. you could always take legal action, but that's not as fun...
i say get creative.

don't do anything that'll get you in trouble with the law.
however, think of plan b - like poisoning the lady or something.

find out if it's an indoor cat. if so, feed it some laxative so it shits all over her house.

bring a big ass baggie of catnip and give it to said cat... granny will have a good ol time later as her cat tries to use her as a scratching post.

my friend owns a petshop, i have a good mind to buy a few spiders and let them loose in her house
I like the laxative idea

damn that would piss me off. If I were you I wouldn't have said anything...just have let the leash 'slip' one time. Call animal control and see what they say. Or you could just walk with some tack spray...when that little cunt ass cat comes after your dog pull him and spray the fucker in the face.

If you want to stay completely devoid of any litigation, I would bring a squirt bottle with you on your next walk. When the cat steps up to your shepherd, soak him good. Cats NEVER like water and the owner won't be able to blame you for her cat being soaking wet since it's an outdoor cat.

great idea, i might try and bottle some of my dogs stinky piss

definitely call animal control, sounds like the cat is borderline feral. the owner has no right leaving it out if it's threatening to other people or their property beyond the owner's property line. plus, if the cat is this aggressive towards your dog I'd bet it's aggressive towards others...

id use the water bottle technique or call the authorities and see what you can do. if you let your dog off its leash youre asking for trouble from that cunt.
good luck!

plus, cats, like any animal, carry tons of bacteria and a bite/scratch can easily become infected, in which case the owner of the cat would be responsible for any vet bills you might have

a can of tuna mixed with liquid drano will fix that cat.

walk a different way
or
fill your squirt gun with gas
shoot cat profusely
light cigarette.
while walking away accidently drop match on cat

Damn thats some funny shit....you guys dont reckon that said "authorities" might actually have some other shit to worry about as opposed to a fuckin cat and dog!! Haha....i dunno maybe i just dont get hardcore animal lovers....fuck thats funny though...our whole office here had a good laugh at this thread though....cheers for that....
