ch10 just showed the 2pt mini-series on the weekend, series starting soon.
it truely blew hard. it went beyond the call of duty as far as being a entertaiment train-crash.
it's as if they paid a homeless guy a few bucks to write the screenplay and script on a single, vomit stained napkin while hiring a decent effects / 3d studio (except the water on earth looked like it was made of actual glass).
bad casting - starbuck wtf? beyond being a chick (who cares what sex he/she is) could the 'actress' be any less convincing?!? it looked like she based her whole character on dirk benedict from the original series?!? for a fit warrior she could shave off a few pounds. she made me feel battle ready and i'm a goddamn geek.
what was with the few lame sex scenes? they made it all feel cheaper than baywatch (big call, i'm making it).
the director is making a strong argument to bring back public floggings for crimes against mankind.
has this bombed in the US and we are now being subjected to it as part of the free-trade agreement? i guess it's even-steven as we gave you julian mcmahon but still.

buuut i watched some of that crap last night... Day of Destruction... bah... absolut shit, and i didnt even have high expectations either..
anyways, i also have a feeling people here arent really watchin Lost either... and theyre really missing out

I saw the first part... i agree, story is par for the course. but i was impressed with the production values though. It looked like it a movie... not a great movie...but it beat Jason X.

BattleStar is my favorite show on TV. I think it's absolutely brillaint.
Did you see the last episode? The writer (former 5-6-7 DS9 guy) is taking some major risks.
Acting is great.
Come on...watching the demise of doomed ship. What could be better.

i agree, its a great scifi series. i thought the mini was pretty good, but watching the series as a whole has made me a fan.
