You think that's a "great" question? It's just full of cheap shots and completely oversimplified connections to the Social Security crisis Bush seems to be sure of. Framed correctly those arguments actually support the idea that social security shouldn't be suspended in a free-market trust .
- johndiggity0
so you would agree that the us economy is on the verge of a collapse?
- Mimio0
iDp,
The argument is being made to illustrate how a "member" of the media is being used to further the Bush doctine. It doesn't represent public interest if the President is scripting media interaction to appear legimate.

lovely underhand tossed softball question from connie.
"CHUNG: Mr. President, I was watching you on CBS This Morning, and you were very funny. I think I heard you say that you also had a manicure in California. Is that right?"
fucking riveting.

ONE GUY? You fuckin' kidding? TWO "editorial" journalists have gotten caught taking payola for writing good things about administration policies during the last two months. Yep, they gotta pay for good press. Bullshit.
Where you been? Liberal bias my ass.

I would agree that the economy is touch and go, yes.
- k0na_an0k0
it's ironic you say that while living in the happiest place on earth.

- unfittoprint0
it would be unthinkable for any journalist here NOT to ask 'tough questions'.
us mainstream media has done a shit job in the last few years. 3rd world like.

'iDp,
The argument is being made to illustrate how a "member" of the media is being used to further the Bush doctine. It doesn't represent public interest if the President is scripting media interaction to appear legimate.'What and you don't think 80% of the journalists in the room don't have an agenda? Get your head out of your ass. Believe me I'm totally for the president getting asked honest questions but I can see adding one voice to balance out the flesh eaters. I think it's wrong but I just don't see it as being SHOCKING.
What I want to know is: what have you little bitches done to help further your cause other then bitch about things in an online chat board?
Go ahead and bash the country you live in, go ahead and bash this country even if you don't live here...but seriously if you have a set of balls go do something about it and quit with all this political bullshit. You aren't doing anything here. Lord knows the super lib's need an upgrade on their propaganda image. All the images comparing Bush to a monkey are getting a little tired. Maybe you can help with that, start a viral website or something. I dunno...do something.

I agree 110% Corporations owning media is a sad sad thing. They should be on a subscription basis or something that cannot be tied to politics. Letting the people own the media would be ideal.

the bigger question (and yes, it's from a liberal blog):
"First, you can't even get into the White House complex without a background check and picture identification. So who got the background check? Gannon or Guckert.
Did he tell the Secret Service his real name? If not, how the hell did the Secret Service let someone using a false name get close to the President. That is kinda scary.
And if Gannon/Guckert used a pseudonym to get press credentials, someone in the White House had to know. Under what name did he pass that background check and get White House press credentials? The White House just doesn't hand those things out. Who approved it? And again, who did they approve it for? Gannon or Guckert. And why did he get the credentials? Just to lob softballs.
There has to be documentation of this. Someone filled out the forms for the White House press credentials. Gannon or Guckert? Someone in the White House knows how it happened."
- iDp0
easy...they knew about it...does that really shock you?
btw, that isn't the 'bigger question' and you know it.
