i find this man to be about 100 times more egregious:
http://www.mediaresearch.org/pro…
and i'm sure more people hear him than some gay guy at talon.
- mrdobolina0
Bullshit. The guy has been an Anchor for 30 years and only in this past year was he marked a 'liberal'.
- johndiggity0
yeah right! you never saw the pre-interview cuts with clinton when rather told him he thought he was the greatest president ever? you have got to be fucking kidding me. he's always been left leaning.
- mrdobolina0
left leaning and being a foot-soldier are completely different. I never have seen that pre-interview, though.

sorry to break the news, but it happens in sports and business to my good pal.
- mrdobolina0
what happens in sports and business, I dont follow.

John,
According to your little article there no member of news media may criticize the president without being labeled "liberal".
- johndiggity0
here's a text. it sadly stops short of the part where rather starts blowing clinton.
http://ratherbiased.com/content/…
as far as being a foot soldier for the press secratary, if mcclellan didn't want to take tough questions, he wouldn't have asked the reporters. ari fliescher always took a tough stand against some really liberal reporters and put up with a ton of shit, but he was funny about it.
- k0na_an0k0
softball questioning for perks.
- mrdobolina0
You may be right about rather, John, but at least they are making him retire.
Fox News is an entire Republican network and they are still operating as a 'fair and balanced' news agency. When the entire channel is commentary.
Some of that text in that rather/clinton interview is fucking creepy, for sure.
- k0na_an0k0
snippet:
"CLINTON: I did say that. I mean, the haircut thing was a boner,..."
he said boner.
- Mimio0
I think what they were really doing was planting Gannon there for Bush to call on, since Bush was basically running that Social Security press briefing last week. The needed someone to do their dirty work, and take a cheap shot at Senate Democrats.
- johndiggity0
and mimio, i'm not talking about any member of the media, i'm talking specificlly about dan rather. if you read the last interview i posted with clinton, and revisit the comments he made during the bush administration you will notice a complete reversal in his tone and representation of news, it takes a much more critical tone. criticism is fine, but when reporting the national nightly news, it really has no place.
- mrdobolina0
people arent going to war over sports interviews and taxpayer money isnt spent on it either.
- k0na_an0k0
i was just saying.
jesus.
- mrdobolina0
I was just saying also.
- k0na_an0k0
yes, like a broken record.
- k0na_an0k0
whoops. i meant to go
yes
*mumbling
like a broken recordso you couldn't hear me. sorry.
- johndiggity0
whatever. he did ask a great question though:
"Senate Democratic leaders have painted a very bleak picture of the US economy. Harry Reid was talking about soup lines, and Hillary Clinton was talking about the economy being on the verge of collapse. Yet, in the same breath, they say that Social Security is rock solid and there's no crisis there. How are you going to work -- you said you're going to reach out to these people -- how are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?"

I'm sorry but people aren't going to war over one guy asking softball questions either. So fucking what like this is a huge deal...one guy...softball questions. It's all politics, these other reporters toss softballs too...you think if these reporters all grilled the president that they would be called on again and again? The other reporters are just pissed because this guy does it with albeit less tact.
