Thanks designerror... We'll put it on our list of things to consider... The idea of being able to use the funky scorer was outweighed by the fact that people might just vote the thumbs outright, so we're considering our options...
At the moment thou, we all need a break. It's been a tough ride, especially with the few sad individuals who keep ragging the site because it's similar to threadless.
In all fairness, it takes them at least 10 mins to create a pisstake tshrt and enter it, but it only takes us 10 seconds to decline the application, remove their login and delete their forum posts. Let them rant like the children they are.
In the meanwhile, we've been speaking to threadless's Jake and Jacob, just to make sure the air is clear... Not that they care mind, i'm sure they have bigger fish to fry.

designerror - we're gonna be offering free shipping in the UK for at least the first three months. Hope that goes down well with you guys.
Please spread the word about this site, as it's kinda important to the people who have been working on it for several months to see it stretch its legs and perform.
We're not in this to make vast amounts of money - especially on limited runs of 100 tees per design. In fact, everyone who has put time and effort into this site and its running has done so for free, and any money made will prob just about cover costs.
It's a shame that there are a few idiots out there that are determined to bitch about the site. Hopefully the other users will make it a fun place to be.

tshrt you seem like a good guy. I wish the best of luck to you guys. Seems like you put in a ton of work on this.
Cheers!

the template was indeed ripped.
Greg [Xrtions] did not draw it though... a friend of ours donated the template to us for a Werkburo t-shirt project i can't really talk about. and then greg used it on threadless (and then the template got ripped like 100 times)
looks like shit on the site though... i think they should come with an original template, instead of a bad cop.

I was one of the 100! It is a nice way to present t-shirts. I refuse to use it for any comercial use though...just for presentations of tshirt designs...so take that!

but how hard is it to trace a frikkin photo of a t-shirt...

you may not

what's the big deal? It's just a vector drawing of a t-shirt. Who the hell can't just draw their own?

I'm not feeling it. It's resemblance to Threadless makes me immediately doubt the site's credibility and your integrity as a designer. Try innovating and building a better and more intuitive interface. Improve upon the market Threadless built instead of just walking in it's shadow.
- tshrt0
It's resemblance to threadless? Come on... It's not that similar... The theme behind it is, but other than that, it's a different bag.
We've tried to be as inventive as poss, like with the scorers, and will be adding more features in as time goes on, but for the moment, why not try letting us know what you want to see instead of ranting. iDP and designerror have both put their 2c in and it's been appreciated.
Looking at the site as it stands - it's a voting forum. How many more innovative ways can you think of letting people vote on a design?

On a side note... We're kinda overwhelmed by the range of responses so far... We started this project in our free time, as a way to allow designers to see their tees printed and allow them to put a proven commercially viable product into their portfolio (something which is quite useful for UK students). 3 Months into working the idea, and researching competitors, we stumbled across threadless, and were blown away. They had the exact same idea... and had been doing it for a good 4 years. Still... The UK had nothing like it, so we decided to give it a pop anyway. Noone here makes any money of the project, all time was given freely, and any money we'd make will prob just about cover the running costs and give the staff a few beer tokens to play with at the end of the month.
I'm personally looking forward to a few nice tees winging my way once it does get rolling.
