Back on Rab's point bout SUV's. I watched a programme the other night on Global Dimming (see other thread somewhere here). Anyway, they were at the new launch of the Hummer and were interviewing "Hummer Lovers" one bloke said George Bush should drop fuel to 10cents a litre, after all we OWN IRAQ now!!!
I was fucking gop smacked.

:) some people have no clue whatsoever dancer. however ignorance and stupidity is not limited to certain countries and cultures. everyone has a certain % of dumb masses. anyways, that remark scores certainly quite high in stupidity.
anyways, that reminds me of that one scene in fahrenheit 911 where this woman who lost her son in iraq went to washington and talked to someone and this other woman jumps into the scene saying it's all staged. the woman who lost her son asked her if her son's death was staged as well? and she answered something in the line off "more people got killed there" anyways, she walked away, and the last remark was "blame al quaida!". what? blame who? wow, there's some serious brainwashing going on.

it aint just man made things thats gonna wipe us out.
that tsunami was a natural disaster.
the baby of krakatoa (*spelling?) will erupt in the near future. its inevitable so the scientists say - it emerged in 1928 from being underwater and has been growing 15ft per year. it is now the size of krakatoa when it erupted back ni the 1880s which send shockwaves round the world 7 times and effected the night skies for 5 years after (did anyone else see the tv prog -uk- on sunday about it- bloomin scary). 1/5th of the world HEARD the noise and people were thinking it was the END of the world.Also was hearing yesterday about one of the islands in the canaries which scientists beleive the less habited side of this island will collapse into the see in the near future and they predict it could wipe out most of the East Coast of the States! Damn scary.
At the moment, all our pollution is shielding us from the hole we've created in the ozone, lol, we're cool for now ;)

* oops didnt say why part of the island collapsing would take out the east coast of america. they reckon it would cause a huge wave/tsunami big enough to do this.
