well for starters a lot of governments (us included) should acknowledge the existence of global warming and restrict the co2. for instance: ban suv's. what is the fucking point of having an suv? are you going offroad with it? do you really need it as a sport utility vehicle? if so what for a sport are you actually doing where you need a such a car? i'll bet about 99,999% of suv owners don't need it all. to those: thank you very much for being a part of the wrecking crew who fucks up my and your planet.

Fuck it,
I honestly give up on this country ever getting its fucken act together. I know it's maybe an unfair comparison to make but lets compare some things to Switzerland:
UK: New build housing isn't insulated to guidelines
CH: Uninsulated housing isn't signed off as being habitable as a result also not built.
UK: Pollution from traffic chokes every UK city at least twice a day.
CH: Traffic lights are st so that by driving at the speed limit you will only need to wait at 1 junction when traversing a city (so called green wave)
UK: Try finding yourlocal recycling bins
CH: Try avoiding the recycling bins.
UK: Try recycling plastic bottles
CH: Every supermarket and most kiosks have a "PET" bin for plastic bottles.
the list goes on ad nauseam....
We just don't fucking try here.
Just this morning I walk past a glass bottle lying 2 metres away from a bin, WTF??? 2 metres some fucken arse couldn't be bothered to walk???I give up, I honestly do.

What I find interesting is that people who smoke don't consider stubbing their ciggs on the pavement as littering.
Some people just don't care... I could never just drop a bottle or some such thing...

yeah, mx, saw that happen a lot in amsterdam as well. they would even throw stuff on the ground even if they would stand next to an empty trashcan. seriously. have seen happen that a lot. it's really like wtf is wrong with you? is it like gangsta and cool to leave your shit everywhere? must say, germans are a lot tidier and cleaner.

Its a funny issue init. But those policy makers who try to deny or limit anthropogenic influence as a matter of political expediency should provide the same degree of scientific ananlysis to prove their case. Anyway the EUs stance on the issue is as much linked to energy securiy and oil peak etc. AND the negative impacts of the carbon economy are more than climate change AND the issue of resource democracy is important as some nations/economies have AGHhhh fuck it, why bother!!!!

Dog shit... Oh Man. Living in Greenwich it seemed everyone who moved there it was the thing to get a pet dog. I fucking hate dogs - but that;s besides the point.
I'm walking along the thames path towards my house and this guy in front has a dog and I see it SHIT outside MY gate. This was no ordinary shit though. This pup had most serious runny shit and it was gushing out it's ass like it'd been fed indian all it's life.
It was like a huge cowpat, and this guys started to walk on... Oh no. I shouted after him and insisted he cleaned it up. He had the plastic bag thing going on and he had to scoope all that crap up... I was looking out my window keeping an eye on him and pissing myself all the while...
