other thing that kinda pisses me off, although its pure coincidence and has nothing to do with chuck is that he started selling his steeze under the url np and co...my new portfolio url is similar... two and co ... for fucks sake!! Oh well, I mean I'm sure hes a nice guy...very talented too.

son I love his work...but 30% of his portfolio images are shots of his credit on the actual piece...I have no problem with him...I just wish he would grow up a little. Thats all.

because in all reality, he is doing something that is the in my opinion, the best thing any artist can do for themself.

if you want to talk money, i do believe he is workin w/ more then all of us, and if not now, he will be, ie David Gensler.
he's doin big things, and the little bit of work he does show us is enough for us to go back to his site to see if he has more...
i'm not gonna buy anything off his site now, cause i'm broke, but when i get right, i will support him, because of the quality of his work, and him selling me him.

son I don't think you are understanding what I am saying at all.
I'm not hating on the kid for his fame, fortune or weather or not hes rocking a huge cock. Go visit any other famous designers website...and then tell me that chuck is marketing himself well by putting godlike on the front of his site in all caps.
I totally respect his work. But everytime I've seen his site I think, jeez this is a cocky bastard who has been told things like 'I cant believe how good you are and you are sooo young' a few too many times. Its the truth I know, he's got a style that is hip right now and he is young. But the attitude he portrays doesn't do him any favors in my opinion. I've never said anything bad about him until I just went to the site and saw the GODLIKE.

I sit here writing response after response to you and then deleting it. Simple truth...you have no idea what you are talking about. I'd love to debate your 'issues' but it only boils down to the fact that you like to argue...like to be misunderstood and can only play the role of devils advocate. When did I say this? For a self proclaimed wordsmith you twist the words of others a bit much. I said something like 30% of the images on his site are credits of pieces hes done...for instance 'ILLUSTRATION DONE BY CHUCK ___ (insert last name)'. Understand? You tell me then...what is the point of having a shot of only a credit line?? Answer that.

First of all...thank you. But also you prove my point and that point is that we as human beings can have an opinion..about things and people...just because you don't like a rap album doesnt make you a hater of rap, it means you dislike that album. Nothing even really maters anymore. Fuck this design superstar shit. What ever happend to everyone just making good work cause hey wanted to and worked with people cause they want to not because of the loot. Design Sucks these days. There is a lack of orignality, everyone is trying to copy the ones that people call the "best" so they can get on. Fuck all of this man. Chuck is a ultra nice dude and he does some dope work. But honestly how many of you are nice dudes and do good work as well. Be focused on you, do you, work for you, and spread the idea of creativity man. The shit that gets talked about on here is fucking irrelavant when it comes to design anyway. While you were on this site fucking hyping up some 19 year old kid and being all on his jock, you could have made a dope design, or contacted people about being in a show, or even started thinking about how you could start a company. I guess what I'm really getting at is just do what it is you do and don't worry about other people and hype them up. It's a sick display that cats are doing this shit. And with that said I will be wasting no more time talking about anything design related on this site again. I will only come here to talk about things other than design. FUCK DESIGN.

black marmalade is right for his approach, me i know what i have to do to get my thing done, but its not gonna just happen by me doina design, or contracting someone for a show or none of that...i dont really plan to work w/ someone else, even tho i know i'ma have to, for everything i need i do myself, so in the meantime, i'll watch and spectate, and be a fan.
because in all reality in rap, i dont like anyone new, i like tupac, and then a few listless others,
in design, i dont like anyone, because, i like it as a whole, and some stand out, but i dont take design as serious as music,
i do enjoy it tho.
