Can anyone reccomend a great restaurant in NYC's Meat Packing Dist for Valentines?

I can recommend MANY, but not in that district. Try Tribeca or the UWS or UES

WHat is your fav?

personally, you can go wrong with cutzie joints in Tribeca. 66, Azafran, Capsouto Freres, Chanterelle, Danube all work. However, bring your checkbook, if you know what I mean.

thanks man, you must eat out at nice places often. I was looking for something in the Indian realm - but I could really go for anything..

Well if it doesn't HAVE to be in the meat packing district, you have about 10 indian restaurants on 6th street btwn 1st and 2nd ave.

for valentines? Angelo's of Mulberry.

nice, I know it. good spot.

I think 99% of the restaurants on Mulberry are completely overrated. Tourist traps and the food is so-so. There are better Italian restaurants in the city...especially for the money.
