I don't know about NY, but in LA and OC, 45k (+-5k) sounds about right for a Jr. AD at a well established company. Do your research at sites like salary.com to get a *general* idea of what range to expect. Good luck man! We all need it!
And if youre moving up and not getting your proper pay raises..threat to quit or apply for a new company if you want more ching!

Get a clear picture of what Jr. AD means. That role is not that common.
You can live in Manhattan on 50-55k if your expenses are low.
I was making that and living ok when I first moved here, but my rent was only $1050.
That's with no car, of course.

Any guess on what an interactive AD would make at a high profile agency like Ogilvy or Grey in NYC?
