I feel bad for the actor that played napoleon, though. His voice really sounds like that.

I really didn't like it as much as I liked something like....say...Garden State. But it was pretty funny at some points.
I agree that the characters, music, and everything else was pretty good. It just was slower than it should've been.
I say 'geez' and 'you guys are such retards' a lot, so I had something in common with Napolean.

I take back my previous comment about the bad ending-- I haven't even seen this movie. For some reason I saw the words "Napolean Dynamite" and thought they said "Garden state"-- who the fuck knows why. Hear it's good, though

if you stayed through the credits.. there is a wedding scene at the end.
The dvd has a nice movie of the movie before it was napoleon dynamite. It is the guys college movie he made.

ARE YOU PEOPLE INSANE!!!?!?! one of the dumbest ever..... up there with anchorman .... This humor has no thought behind it and the people that got paid to do this should be shot... there were like 3 funny parts in the whole movie and they were on the trailer....
ya know.....I am starting to think I am weird.... cause everyone else thinks this type of shit is funny...its similar to when I wake up everyday and wonder why I was born a Met's fan.

everything people have said they didn't like about it, like the slow pace, the ending, etc. are all things i loved about it. but i did stay after the credits and watch the wedding scene, which was awesome. hearing Kip sing his "technology" song was almost as good as napoleon dancing

I just wish then that they would come out with more things with my humor.....
I mean the only thing I can cry hysterically at everytime I watch it is ....bruce almighty anchor scene where the guy starts going bananas.......
I know I have a sense of humor... I guess just an odd one...meanwhile I thought that humor was odd...
I also like bash... I think thats the name..they play pranks on each other....

This movie hit home for me. I live in Utah a few miles from the school that the producers went to and all though the movie was shot in Idaho, the way they captured country life out here was right on. I knew about five kids at my school that were as cool as Napolean. Moon boots and all. I thinks its the well water.
