any thoughts of usign the "1" inside of that countdown graphic , and then usign one of your "ten" designs from teh wayback to go before it?
might get the job done.
it is readable, it has the countdown element, and with the number inside of it, it makes it easier to understand what it is supposed to be.PS. if the client loves what you have, give it to them. As long as they are happy and they pay you, forget it.

I think the bottom three in the third column are very striking, I agree with timg that 10NE is yummy, though i don't much care for that shade of green.
if it would really put a party in their pants to have the film circle thingy, have you played with maybe using that for the zero in 10NE?

up contrast on the countown versions and text must be bigger and cleare or it to work.
Gonna be a real bother getting it to work as a logo and look like the original idea, reckon something is gonna have to give.
