It's pretty obvious that the Phaeton is going to be the new look. However with that chrome grille it looks like a baby Audi (since Audi is moving to an oversized grille).
Frankly, since I can't afford a BMW right now, I'll stick with Nissan. I like the looks of this but I'm a bit miffed that they used the SE-R badge on it:

ive hated the volkswagens after the 98/99 body change, they all look like asian imports now.. they lost their characteristic VW lines
im happy with my 97. i wouldnt buy one of these new designs

the guy that designed the current generation of jettas works for ford now. the designers for golf/gti, passat, and new beetle all work somewhere else.

I was set on being vw owner for life with the golf/jetta line but that design is just bad. Looks like I'll have to cough up the bucks to go audi or bmw next.

I've got a 2001 jetta that I absolutely love. this new design sucks donkey balls. The current design has such simple clean lines. Almost like a beamer... now they go and F it all up!
