51% is a mandate when you compare it to Britain. Labour won the largest majority in history with 44% of the vote in 1997. Then retained most of it in 2001 with 40.7%.
So let's say that again - 40% of the vote = 150+ majority in the House of Commons. It's hard not to do exactly what you want with a 'mandate' like that.

I have two brothers in the military. Both Officers. I'm am the black sheep art school brother. Neither of them want to be there.

I'm not down with the fact that we're over there, but at the same time I'm not down with the death of out own soldiers either. If I were in that situation, you're damn right I'd call for air support to level that block. I't all senseless, but you'll fight to the end to protect your own neck
