absinthe story:
While on a study abroad in london(following a week trip to prague) A couple of us were sitting around with some absinthe in our flat in london. One persons glass got too hot from the fire, and he dropped it all over the table.
About a minute later everyone else is ready to take the shot. we do it, and someone else spits it up... all over the candles we have burning. The spit up absinthe lights the spilt absinthe... and our table is on fire...

Absinthe is not that great. Taste's like hell, and you fall asleep before you've gotten a buzz.

To get real absinthe is pretty rare nowadays. What you get now is just commercial snake oil. Real absinthe wasn't done anymore since it got banned.
