BonSeff-y beat me to the Breakin post. That's what I get for not readin the whole thread and posting a spontaneous reply; but yeah, that album was sicknezz
- BonSeff0
me too. i havent seen it in years. didnt it come with how to breakdance illustrations?
- Point50
I think it did. But the moves were real basic like the kickworm and how to pop lock. I was in 3rd grade and I thought that was the best album ever.
- BonSeff0
yeah, i think i was in 6th. me and a few friends on my street would have pop contests with another crew on the way home after school. i'll bet we looked like a bunch of clowns! hahaha

it was a double record with mostly tracks from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 and the Sugar Hill Gang, with some other classic groups like treacherous three etic - man, i listened to that like crazy
i'm feelin old discussing this

I gotta thank you all. This is a whole new era of music I've never heard before and I love it. I just downloaded 50 songs last night and I'm still listening to them.

mine was an electro sampler...i know it had 'electro scratch' by the knights of the turntable on it.

Ahh yes... I must agree early 90's were the golden era of hip hop... We can't forget:
FUGEES (we need a comeback album)
Digable Planets - Rebirth of Slick
Black Moon - How many MC's, Gotcha Open
Brand Nubian
Black Sheep
Heiroglyphics crew ownz.

My first 12 inch was some kind of breakdance compilation w/ Grand Master Flash, Whodini, Melle Mell, Furious Five, and some others. Good shit.
A couple of years ago I found Whodini - It's All In Mr. Magic's Wand on vinyl and Eric B. and Rakim - Eric B. for President each for 1 dollar at an old record shop. Yureka!
