that sounds cool...I'd hire that sick little fucker. Wouldnt ever let him meet the clients, just shove his little twisted ass in a closet and expect him to produce wicked cool stuff all day.

dude, not meaning to lecture here but...
you have homework to do and the chance (you won't be getting much of it later) to create something for yourself.
but instead you're trying to sneak a few ideas around... how will you defend what's not yours? how will you improve? what will you really learn?
what matters is the process you can establish for yourself, not the imediate effect.
Then again, if you're looking for BIG don't mind the trees: mind the forest.

I saw a lecture by Sagmeister today (amazing guy and very inspiring) and he was saying a student who really wanted an ineternship there cut type into herself like Sagmeister and sent in the photos to promote herself. I don;t think she got the job though, he was syaing they are booked till 2008 for interns.
