dude, not meaning to lecture here but...
you have homework to do and the chance (you won't be getting much of it later) to create something for yourself.
but instead you're trying to sneak a few ideas around... how will you defend what's not yours? how will you improve? what will you really learn?
what matters is the process you can establish for yourself, not the imediate effect.
Then again, if you're looking for BIG don't mind the trees: mind the forest.
