having to run a bar in a club that was rough as fuck.

I picked out mouldy peas from a conveyor belt.
I'd fill a couple of buckets a day.

I'm not sure which was worse... the early morning cleaning job at McDonalds, or at GM Design, having to work on a badly-managed facelift program for the Chevy Venture, which was cancelled in the end anyway...(thank god).

busboy at sizzlers for 1 week. after that first week, i decided after the first week not to return, and they decided i wasn't right for the job and didn't bother calling me back. it was a mutual seperation.

When i was in grade 9, I worked at a No Frills grocery store. They paid 6.85 canadian an hour, and ontop of the taxes they took union dues from us as well.
Worst job ever.

I have always had a sever aversion to jobs, some shitty short lived ones from my youth were:
paperboy (free paper, later my parents discovered literally thousands of undelivered papers in our cellar heheh)
kitchen porter (your dishes were not clean)
waiter (I will drop your shit)
hotel porter (do not leave money, alcohol, cigarettes etc unguarded)
chip shop scivvy (sacked for sleeping on a chest freezer)
traffic surveyer (do not trust survey stats, they are clearly fabricated in the pub)

you think thats bad rasko4!! On my last day at the factory some of they guys played a joke on me. When you arrived you had to wear fetching white wellies, white coat and a white hat, so the guys thought it would be funny to stuff my wellies with fish guts at the toe so when i stepped in..... well you can guess the rest!!!!
Not impressed at the time but actually, respect to them for coming up with that one!!!!

Wow.
I haven't ever really had a horrible job, except for working at Bob Evans as a busboy. I did that for a week and split.
I actually enjoyed being a cook, a landscaper, laborer and the likes. Didn't like any of my retail gigs much though. I'm okay with my job now since I am designing, but I have no windows and work in the dark because thats what the programmers like I guess. It can be frustrating.

Dita_kd - I can smell you in TEXAS!!!

working at my parents old folks home when I was about 12.. having to clean commodes full of old people's shit... jesus.. and taking off their dirty bedclothes.. man.. that was pretty shitty.. but my parents gave me extra pocket money so I guess that's what kept me going.. not that I had any choice of course..
