Upon approaching the Bush daughters during his run for govenor, Schwartzenegger inquires:
"Who is your daddy, and what does he do?"

Australia rules. We all know we never chose BAD leaders...
oh wait... did I say leaders?
You want to make your OWN Shwarzneggar speech? I'm sure you could do pretty much the same with http://www.ebaumsworld.com/arnol…

In a sense everyone just watches out for themselves, no matter where you go. It's human nature to protect your interests.
Rich people vote for someone who'll make em rich, poor people vote for someone who'll help em outta the hole.
And the world keeps turnin.

we've always been this way. materialism has been the american way for decades. the first thing most men wanted to do when they got home after WW II was 'buy a car'. We've been a nation of non-carpoolers for a while. people act as if this is some new thing that happend over night. it's been here.
There's nothing that can be done about the government side of things. He who has the gold makes the rules. Politicians make big-ass money...positions of power typically make big-ass money. No vote will change that. Nobody's going to vote for themselves to take a paycut from 6 figures to mid five figures. I don't care what kind of government you live under, that's just how it is.
American's like to brag about how open minded we are, but compared to europe, I thing we're conservative.
Example:
Why does an auto racer like Michael Schumacher makes close to 100mil a year (sponsorships and contingencies, etc) while a nascar driver may only make that in his entire career? Nascar is isolated to the US. It gets more air time and promotion here than F1 on the mainstream level, yet they don't make as much $$$ as an F1 driver. To me, that's a reflection of how the US is. We have our little box we like to stay in....open up the box to remind the rest of the warehouse that were here, and then close it up.Sad. Makes me want to live elsehere....hey, any room in sweden? My mom's from there.

Not to kiss Euro ass, but my wife and I took our three kids to France and Spain for a month...on average, the people there seem to be so much more in tune with social issues and politics. The kids my kids were hanging out with actually KNEW the name of our vice president.
We come home to a cousin that said he is voting for Bush because he didn't raise the driving age in California to 21.
Dumbass.

i'm still wondering how California let ol' Arnold in, that man shouldn't speak...period.

that speech took on the shape of a polygon window into the non-soul of america, all holographic bark and no gnostic bite.
look, you knew he would say 'girlie men' and 'terminate the weak' . What the Republicans have to do is begin McJihad on their insides.

still wondering that myself...
