shit, you should've seen what was going on in cali during the recall. arnie was campaiging up in costa mesa and he brought along a hollywood special effects crew. about haflway through his speech, he got to talking about the "car tax" (which really isn't a tax, but a hike in the fee to register vehicles in our state). so he says..."and we gonna say hasta la vista to the car tax baby!!!' And as he says it he points behind the crowd, where an old car with the words "hasta la vista car tax" spray painted on it is sittig in the parking lot. Then, the crane behind it drops a 500 lb. wrecking ball onto it, obliterating it. The crowd went nuts....seriously, you can't make shit like that up.
And please dont ask what I was doing there, but I can assure you it wasn't yo see Arnold spew one liners from his movies.

what country is able to produce such ignorance ?
the USA
once i thought this could be a cool country to live in.. we all felt europe was getting 'oldish' somehows.
god thank you i don't live in this extremist / media ruled / stupid & selfish nationi couldn't believe it yestaerday when i read the guy with his bycice across N.Y getting arrested.. ! they should have called the special forces : the brilliant SWAT teams ! beat him up as well, call him a terrorist
and u pretend to leave in the land of the FREE ??
the free of what ? free of getting a new WAR sooner or later or free to elect Madonna for President..
welcome to Dysneyland.. no need to go anywhere else.
sad, very sad.
and arnie is such a dick.. in france he could have some kind of mental retirement benefit for being so fucking stupid

bomy, i know what you mean, people who live in the states are always so defensive that they live in a *FREE* country, they're just blind, and brainwashed by fox news and dave letterman and all that pro bush crap. people believe what they see/read, because they are too wrapped up in their shallow materialistic lives to have an opionion about something beyond the end of their own noses.
it's really sad, and it can't possibly last forever, fake economy, stealing cash from the rest of the world. and that's only for the rich in the states, look how bad it is for the disadvantaged there, fuck, what is the american dream? it doesn't exist.
PS, i don't dislike americans, i just pity them living there.

come on, i have met some truly great persons that are from the US. Don't offend those who would love to see a better situation.
and also.. don't know if the media's been too much on the hype but unfortunatly i have noticed that almost ANY European i talk to about the USA refers to the country as backward, moronic and what not.
I can only hope, for the sake of the good people that live there, and those that take pride in 'the good qualities' (they ARE there, just not much shown in the media here tho) can make a change.
Keep criticizing the media (esp. FOX), make them look retarded (even to the avg. American) and keep protesting Bush.
The fact alone we saw so many protesters lately makes us feel better about this nation and only proves it's bad image is caused by a few (eg. Bush etc.) that control a LOT (eg. media, corp., security etc..).

Man Europeans are arrogant. Maybe we shud give them a list of their own fuckwit leaders and political parties they (we've) been voting for and call them (us) all morons.
- DutchBoy0
there's some (painful truth) in it.
also__
the US is always being pointed at and criticized for the simple fact that it is the 'dominant male' on this planet.look at our PM, noone cares. He's hardly any better then Bush, imo. and why does noone care? our country is so small and meaningless it hardly influences you in any way whatever PM we have installed here.
- DutchBoy0
"meaningless" as in political.
;)

Exactly right Dutchy. Just look at Bellusconi in Italy and Heider in Austria, or Pim Fortuyn's(can't spell) party in Holland. Talk about craaazies.
- DutchBoy0
yep, the last one is falling apart now, cuz of numerous scandals and lack of leadership.
times are changing again.. (hopefully_)

I read the transcript of his speech, and it's funny how he says he knew he was Republican because of Nixon. He loved Nixon I guess, as it was around the time he came to the US that Nixon was President.
Note to Arnold-Nixon was probably one of the worst Republican presidents we've had. Any idea what the word criminal means? Or impeachment?

yeah, europe is just as fucked, but america seems to be the bigger issue, and it affect us all, not just you in the US.
Berlusconi is a fucking nightmare, but he's very obvious, changing laws to suit his own situations etc. As for Blair, who knows, he's a sneaky little fucked, english politics is a fucking mess, everyone lying to each other and hiding things from the media, and all that. But saying that, I find american politics and it's use of media and campaigning pretty comical really

and didn't Le Pen get a decent percentage of the vote in France last time they voted?
Dumb people everywhere, not just the US.
- unfittoprint0
PS- Le Pen is contained, a has-been.
Fortunately, Europe is again changing. Thanks to Bush. Bless that little soldier.
