My brother was at one of our friends houses today. It's a duplex that they rent and the people living on the other side are the landlords. They are around the same age as our friends and hang out with them sometimes.
So my brother was there and had a John Kerry sticker on his car that I gave him. The landlord guy comes over to my brother and said sorry my wife ripped your bumper sticker off of your car shes a really big Bush supporter.
I currently live in a duplex and can't imagine the owner coming over ripping my friends bumper stickers off of their cars.
I think something should be done to teach them a lesson. I at least want to talk to her about it. Do you think that's wrong or illegal to do what she did? What do you think should be done?

go down the block and find a Kerry lawn sign and gently place it in their yard. I would seriously do that if I were you.

put a kerry sticker right on the windshield. not one of those vinyl stickers, but one of those paper/impossible as fuck to get off/warning:your car has been booted type of stickers.
also put one on each of her car windows. she'll be cleaning those off for weeks man, WEEKS I TELL YOU!

Of course what she did was wrong and perhaps illegal, but people are assholes.
Any retaliation would be obvious as to who did it and would just bring down more bullshit.

could lightly be treated as criminal damage to private property. i have heard stories before about that.
if that had happened to me I would go and talk to her right away and ask her what she thought gave her the right to touch anything that didn't belong to her. then demand she pay you for a replacement.
