"Currently I've left my native land of Florida and moved far away with my fiancee (still feel weird saying that) Ryan. He was forced to move to the midwest for pilot training so he tied me up and took me with him. Hence the redneck layout. Since we're out here in the middle of nowhere, there isn't a whole lot to do. When I'm not harassing cows or playing in the wheat fields, I'm usually taking photos, fixing AKA breaking computers, drawing, watching Simpsons, catching fish & playing GTA. Contrary to the design of this layout, I hate all country music. Yes, even Garth Brooks. If you'd like to know anything else shoot me an email.

many many times I have had bitter male designers tell me that i'll get a better job then them cause of the way I look as opposed to my skills. . .
so i wonder: is it a curse, or should i be embracing this?
in any case, I hope its a bunch of bitterness, rather than closer to the truth

kStyle, they maybe bitter but in all honesty I would say that Creative Directors are 95% male. This is no reflection on a females talent to design but simply due to the fact that when one makes it to CD level most women are bound to be thinking of family responsibilites. Tis true in the UK, I can only think of 3/4 'big guns' that are female...

I saw on one of those investigative report shows I think this one was called "Shame on you" they set up fake job applicants (actresses) to apply for the same position with this manager dude (who looked like a joey buttafucco without the Giants stamped pants). One girl had a very well qualified resume and she was a serious business woman type. The other girl look like a model, but with little experience on her resume and acted like an airhead throughout the interview. It was really funny, they had hidden cameras, guess who got the job? The model chick...

maybe people are just bitter because of the quality of your work, but blame your looks??
