Bon Jovie, Alice Cooper!?
the quesiton is not racism...
is:
whydafuck would any [true] artist want his face next to one of those fuckers?
- DutchBoy0
where'd be the white artists if it was motown themed?
- speed_d0
because an artist hasn't "made it" until their image graces the outside of a miller can....
Wow miller, I would think nascar drivers would work better...

as a brownie, there way more important issues in racism to be dealing with than this stupid beer can (awesome song by beck) "controversy"
im more offended as a music fan.
when i think of it realistically, i can see some guy drinking that shit going like "killer dude, they put howling wolf on the can, party on".
if these were a series for rocknroll hall of fame id feel differently.
fuck it, as a brown guy im pissed off they dont have kim thayil from soundgarden, tony kanal from no doubt, or dave the brown sound from sum 41 on the cans. racist bastards.
- mrdobolina0
I drink high life alot, its the local beer. I grew up on it and think it is going to be funny as fuck when alice cooper is on the can.

hahahaaaaaaaa

They were talking about that on the radio the other day. I don't see how Willie Nelson is rock n roll. Chuck Berry is more rock n roll than Willie. I think it has to do alot with who would sell beer better to the market that drinks that beer. White americans. That doesn't make it right....hell, Hienekin was using JayZ.
- ********0
Heineken is using JayZ because they are peddling that stuff to a younger crowd. Miller is going for the classic rock people. etc etc

Anheiser Busch may suck, but they have pretty good campaigns....

Yes, black americans may have invented rock music but they've left it to us white folk to fuck up for years. I would actually like to see what the innovators of Rock and Roll could do for it today to be honest. Black folk are a completely missing element in modern rock and roll. We're not talking about Lenny Kravitz here. We're talking about the complete lack of input from any reasonably creative and decent black artist in rock.
I wonder if they are going to abandon hip hop and rap to white folk as well and discover something new? Do we have a future of Eminems to look foward to?
Oh yeah, it also happened with Jazz.
(end rant)
- DutchBoy0
pffft.... nigga, puhlease!!

to my knowledge, if you wanna hear what black pioneers would have done with rock - just listen to Elvis. Africans wrote and produced most all his work, and got fucked over when it came to getting credit for it.

we did a cd at my last job for the only black NASCAR driver. I forget his name. Anyways, this guy was teamed up with Pharrel (the rap artist) for some marketing campaign. So... the only black NASCAR driver gets marketed along side a rap artist? I definately don't see anything wrong with that, but obviously the only reason they were put together is because the guy is black.
