but if Bush wins by the number of votes the Independent gets, then what?
Ladies get your coat hangers.

Every year people say a vote for the independent is a vote for __________. So if we never vote it, it will never be.

I doubt the republican party is as nervous about Nader......
oh...here we go again.....
- _KLP_0
i doubt it too but the landscape has changed since 9-11 and people need to step up. The world depends on us and the last thing we need is the stoopid goof running another 4 years and the Mr. say anything to win kerry and his gawd awful loud wife to slip in.

I am also not too happy with Kerry, I am undecided as to whether to vote for Nader or Kerry. Right now after that poor DMC showboating that was so fake looking, I'm leaning towards Nader.

But you should know that Nader will not win. So, unless you want Bush again, the only option is to vote for Kerry. Otherwise you are throwing your vote away.

Kerry doesnt need to be stopped..

I voted for Nader in the last election and I've been living w/ the guilt of voting my conscience ever since. I fell like Nader is the better man. He's right and has been for so long. Unfortunately he will never be president.
This year there is simply too much to lose by voting your conscience. If you don't believe that voting independent helps Bush then you are sadly uninformed. The Republican Party loves the fact that he is running in the election and are doing their best to help in gain votes in contested areas. It's easier to get young liberals to go Nader than to go Bush so this is actually an effective and scary method.
We are living in a completely different world than we were when the last election came. Before you start pushing the Independent Party line you need to figure out who you are really helping.

that is just it. unlike some of you i dont feel Kerry is any better than Bush and i will not vote for someone based on wanting someone else out. That to me is throwing away a vote. We are most likely better with Bush in office (IMHO) since America faces foreign issues right now. I dont want Kerry in office doing everything opposite of Bush including dealing with other nations differently. I think France has an agenda here and I think kerry will try and please France at any cost. This is more scary to me than Bush not being able to verbalize words.

people who say vote independant really don't know spit about politics or how it works.
- mrdobolina0
do any of you honestly think that nader will be our next president?
Im telling you, a 3rd party in the white house is a ridiculous concept until we all vote 3rd party candidates into Congress.
If nader would win he wouldnt be able to get anything done unless he had adequate representation in the house and senate. it REALLY would be throwing your vote away.

simply put if more people in the u.s. were informed properly AND voted, period, kerry would win and the independants would be that much better off.

Nader is a brillaint man - no doubt - but he will never be president - so PLEASE don't waste your vote - use it to get bush out and vote for Kerry.
I have issues with Kerry too...but my god they are nothing compared to what a total fucking fruitcake bush is. I mean seriously...come on....
Vote Obama '08

love listening to people not from America talk like they know best for America. Buddy over here "wadafa" is Canadian talking about independents, Kerry and Americans not being informed. Loser man. Mind the business or come live here before casting judgments and enforcing stereotypes.
