Ever notice that it's the overly religious people who have problems with this?
Government has no business concerning itself with the sanctity of anything, much less my spiritual well being.

no offense froww, but how is the Bible absolute truth? it is the interpretation of Man, it is not the word of God, just years and years of interpretation...
you see problems with this when people interpret the constitution and it hasn't been around nearly as long...
how can the Bible therefore be completely accurate?

I think logic would dictate that the world began about 5000+ years ago and that all the dinosaur bones that have been found were simply placed on Earth by god to test our faith.

"Because homosexuals are rarely monogamous, often having as many as three hundred or more partners in a lifetime — some studies say it is typically more than one thousand — children in those polyamorous situations are caught in a perpetual coming and going."
are you fucking kidding me? thats the most absurd thing ive ever seen. marriage was destroyed a long time ago by straight infidels and it had nothing to do with homosexuals.

froww. You have NOTHING but faith.NOTHING. Therefore, if you gonna be all religious about it, then you have NOTHING constructive to bring to this argument apart from how ur God is against it.

froww, the christian anti-abortion jagoff on the same block as my office has a poster of an aborted baby out on the street right now. and another placard that says something about say no to gay marriage.
Doesnt the Christian god teach tolerance?
shouldnt children be spared from this sort of image in public?
I am not saying you subscribe to the same extremism as this punk, but this is the type of person that is in other people's business, wghile he is harassing women who are getting abortions at the clinic.
Is it his business?

What would Jesus do? Rise up against gay marriage? Probably not...
It is not for us to judge, if there is a God, which I believe there is, judgement will come. It is not for us to judge those who choose to live differently in a manner that doesn't harm anyone.

Leah, really? How about that.
I guess we share a different opinion. I believe it takes more faith to be an atheist than a believer because you have the evidence of intelligent design all around. By the way, here's an excellent book you may want to check out if you are feeling reasonable and objective:

It's not about not believing in A God. but in your dogma. U think u have a monopoly on divine truth. arrogant punk.
- mrdobolina0
faith cant be proven, froww. that is where the problem lies.

Yo, people, show Frow some respect. He doesn't disrespect you, he just expresses his own beliefs. He doesn't freak out & call you awful names. Just because you & I don't agree with what he believes, doesn't mean you have to be so hateful.
- bomy_dick0
froww... i se u're a very patient person.
but down here most of the time u have to agree with the mass or u get flame and rants all the way..
so as soon as one of them say : is it cool to wear prada glasses and give a blow job to my younger brother ?
say : hell yeah ! and don't argue becasue few of these folks are actually ready for discussion.. they just establish a rule of what and who is cool at the moemnt and if u don't follow that rule u're being banned..sad , but true. everytime a topic like that come up, the very first guy giving an opposite opinion, whatever attitude he has , is being flamed etc..
- mrdobolina0
brooke, he just insinuated that leah couldn't read big words... that isnt very respectful.

on this board, everyone is allowed to have their own opinion....as long as it is the same liberal thinking as the majority.
for some, it is unfathomable that non-homophobic, normal people could oppose gay marriage.
You guys go right to God-bashing. In a way, that is right on the money. This issue is in no way seperable from religious beliefs. But like it or not, our country was founded on Judeo-Christian morals and teachings. That is right where I want our country to stay. You may disagree, but remember, this is your right under our Constitution. The right of free speech and free worship and freedom to live in an alternative lifestyle. However, the state shouldn't sanction that lifestyle, based on the same principles (the ten commandments, Jesus' teachings, principles of moral behaviour) that say homosexual behaviour is in defiance with what God wanted for us and created us for.
