In all seriousness, it's more than a little disturbing that Bush is giving attention to this banning of gay marriage consitutional ammendment when there's a fucking war going on, the economy is sputtering, and there's potential terror threats. His vehemence in servicing his religious constituents is purely insane.

The amendment (which would be the first to take away rights rather that ensure them) serves to distract poor conservatives from the fact that Republicans don't give a damn about their tax bracket.

Actually Kerry took the "economy" debate out of his campaign because the US economy is bouncing back strong and the terror threats... Well, there hasn't been another since 9-11 and that was over 3 years so I would assume that they have in fact focused a lot of attention on this as well.

i know but i was referring to mimio saying they should focus the attention on the economy and terrorist. I was implying that it appears they are since they havent had any attacks and continued alerts and the economy over in the US is reportedly bouncing back.

Bush's Terror-O-meter is at it's second highest level right now, and Kerry most assuredly addresses the country's current unemployment situation in his platform as well as the fact that the US economy hasn't grown in the last 3 months.
