if i was axed, i'd take some days off for r&r (many drinks included), come back and pimp out the folio. oh yeah, i bought a fax machine last time i was unemployed, it's great investment for when you start throwing out resumés.

Try to get a good reference from them before they forget you.
Don't make the mistake I did by asking the former boss to write one. Write a good reference letter yourself, have it printed on the company stationary and have them sign it .
