bush does not have osama.
the reason: bush is not all-powerful, he's incompetent.
- jpolk0
i totally think that the "dumb Bush" persona is totally intentional.
keep people thinking "someone that dumb can't have a hidden agenda"
- jpolk0
2 "totallys" in a sentence? SoCal is getting to me...
- zedvox0
like totally, dude.

I agree, he almost seems too stupid to be able to have any great agenda. But we all know thats not true.

it doesn't matter if it's Bush or any other member of that administration. Bush is their puppet, he's not the scary one. It's Cheney, Bush Sr., the Saudis, those are the people in power right now. They are the ones f*cking everything up for their personal agendas.

look, bush:
- fucked up iraq
- fucked up tora bora
- fucked up the 9/11 query
- fucked up the budget
- fucked up riding a bike and a segway
- choked on a fucking pretzel
- is polling worse than (fucking) Kerry/Edwards at the momentBush is not god. He has power, he has a hidden agenda. But stop trying to act like he's an evil genius cos he got one or two things going his way.

Whatever. There's been terror alerts in London since anyone had ever heard of Angry Arabs or Jihads.
All I know is if they blow me up I'll get a little upset.

David Cross has a hysterical bit on the terror alert.
It's also pretty obvious though. When can you cause the most disruption to a political system? Election time.

must be strange to live as a human target on defcon orange

The terror alerts are akin to 'flash of bare breast' for the religious faithfull (GWB included) who ultimately believe in the coming apocalypse (Total Religious Relief aka TRR®) which will sweep them all up to heaven.
There's a large group of people out there who now are waiting for the end of the world and thanks to the 'Left Behind' series of books the lines between fact, fiction and religion are as blurred as Mr Magoo's eyesight.

Maybe it should be just be nipped in the bud.... because you know that they can...

-------------------------------It doesn't matter how long the war on terror against evil in the name of god lasts because the Rapture will sort us all out apparently.

1 Thessalonians Ch. 4:
"According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. "

Moths comments remind me of something I read on Chomskys site yesterday:
There’s only one way in which violence works and that’s through extermination, then it works. So take, say, the United States, the United States does not have a lot of internal conflicts and it has a single language over a huge territory and why? It exterminated the native population. If you do that you don’t have any problems, but anything that falls short of extermination or mass expulsion then it’s going to escalate a cycle of violence.
