It's one thing if a poor guy is stealing food to feed his family but this is akin to Bill Gates stealing food to sell to the homeless!!!
Anyone who says they wouldn't take the oppurtunity to get back at their enemy is full of shit!!!!

Now there your enemy.
They pay you don't they. If it's such a bullshit company and they screw everyone they do business with. what makes you any different.
You take the pay check at the end of the month just the same as the boss man.

You can call me immature all you want!
Bottom line is this:
A little scrub like me gets for once to be on top and hit them where it hurts!!

ApeGrope don't make assumptions about what we would do. i can tell you from experience that what goes around comes around. revenge is never the answer, especially when you could very possibly put the place out of business and ruin the jobs of several people who simply 'work there'
grow up

Well if someone reports me for stealing software then so be it..I had it coming.
I don't care for any person who makes millions of dollars a year and waves his dick to everyone and basically asks us to lick it!!!
So no I don't feel bad. I won't regret it and if it comes back to me then the KARMA POLICE BETTER HAVE RIOT GEAR ON!!
- rasko40
how are you on top? they fork out a coupla thousand tax deductable dollars from the company funds and then look around the office suspiciously, treating suspected snitches like shit and then give them the sack. Sounds like some real seet revenge there hahah :/
- sauceruney0
I think you get a reward, too.

There's a bunch of moral relativists here. What about the software companies with the stolen software? What about their jobs?
- tfsmag0
dude, do you understand that it won't just affect your bosses? it could affect the innocent people that you work with too...
seriously, i don't think you 'get it' which is probably why you're so disgruntled in the first place. You may hate your job, and have very good opportunities to move on to other jobs, your co-workers may not.
quit being a vengeful selfish little prick and just go find a new job if you don't like it there.

Just to clear it up. I know plenty of people with illegal copies of software. I dont care! I'm pretty sure a lot of people on this site do! Who cares!??!
My gripe is with evil bosses and companies who screw the little people to make a few bucks!!!
- nessdog0
Can't you think of a less drastic way of getting your own back?
- fugged0
Naw. Just give 'em an upper tanker before you leave.

Like it says, it's "The Gift That Keeps On Giving."

exactly nessdog,
do something that will only affect your bosses, not the entire company. have their car towed, or put dog shit in their desk drawer. something fun and harmless.
do you want to be responsible for causing the people you work with to lose their jobs? are you that selfish?

I used to work for this Dutch company that really sucked and was unpro.
Although I had relocated from the states, where I had 5 times the salary they offered, they didn't live up to any of their promises, making me spend all my savings just to survive in Holland with my family. Since my work visa was tied to that company, I had no choice but to leave Holland.
None of their software was legal. I thought of blowing the whistle, but didn't. I'm happy about it now. There were some nice people there and they would have probably lost their jobs had I done it.
I have my own studio now in Israel and I'm doing better than ever before.
They are going on doing the same pathethic shit they did before. They are contantly on the verge of bankruptcy. You don't really get anywhere being a cheap bastard. Being assholes is punishment enough.
My advice, go on with your life.
