"Emo" would be short for "emotional" correct? So we would know what to expect from these bands right?

Kip winger is better by himself on an acoustic.....I saw him last year and it was pretty cool.
One kid I know told me that Emo was Melodic-Hardcore...and I laughed. Sorry, you don't piss in a used coffee filter and get Starbucks. Besides, most of the hardcore bands I know would want to beat up emo bands...
