All you need:
Mac w/ OS X with OS 9 install.
Partion with Yellow Dog Linux (or whichever flavor you prefer)
Virtual PC running XP, 2000 + 98.Now you can test away on a multitude of platforms to your hearts content and still enjoy all the benefits of the Mac.

Jevad you are my hero. =] I'm saving for a 12" iBook and plan on using it for the same purpose; administration work (word docs, calendaring, expenses, email, etc.)
My box at home is a pc, so no need to change the foundation, but I don't mind adding to the technological mix. Can't afford a mac tower yet and frankly don't want one (pc or mac). It's time to go wireless.
For leisurely fun, that iBook sure is a treat. I keep going to the Apple store and 'testing' it. =]
End of this month its mine.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind a pc.. I just don't have the room for one.
