typing this from my brand new iBook G4! this is the forst mac I have ever owned and I am damn excited - this thing is beautiful. In the end I couldn't quite justify the extra for the Titanium...but this is sweet indeed!

I should probably clarify - I have a PC tower at home that I use to do all my design and programming - I'll be using this mainly to sit on the couch and type word docs for client jobs/send emails etc...all whilst connected to my wireless LAN at home...will also use it to conenct to WiFi hotspots in town...I almost got an HP pavillion because they have an amazing price deal at the moment - but the fact of the matter is that I could really use this computer for cross browser and platform testing....

Sorry just had to comment on the PC v. Mac... To counteract Zeropoint from the other thread... any real designer/developer has both. How else do you test your sites for other platforms?
And forget about what OS you use, just be creative for once and go with what you like/have for the moment. I'm sure you'll just jump on the next cool thing anyways. =)

Word. Macs have some pros and cons, so do PCs... But as for design goes, anyone can design as good or as bad on either PC or Mac. I think it all relies on the person's talent, not on the machine's specs...
