Awwwww...oh well. There's always next year. Good game, good game. I'm rooting for the Leafs now (somewhat) because Toronto is like my 2nd home. But Ottawa will come back next time!

-Marc-Andre Bergeron will not lead all NHL defencemen in scoring.
- The Edmonton Oilers will not lead the West, nor will they stand 3rd in the league.
- The Dallas Stars will not stand at 6th overall in the league
- Nikolai Khabibulin will not have a GAA under 1 for the year.
- Josh Harding won’t have the save percentage lead.
- Kris Versteeg will not be a point per game player over the year
- Boston will not sit at the bottom of the Northeast

Just to put things in perspective here. Being in Leafs Nation is like living in a dark cold winterland. We've been huddled in out homes for years, because the outside world has nothing to offer except frostbite and pain. So, in moments like this, when the sun shines, if only for a brief moment... it is our duty to come outside, bask in the fleeting warmth and be completely audacious about it.

Great to see Boston at the bottom of the table.
Edmonton is surprising\, my first impression is that they've got a bright future. Leafs? Speculating is pointless with them, as they've imploded in November far too many times to make this seem anything but an apparition.
Flames...ugh. I dunno man, I just don't know. Feels grim.

You really have to wait until after the break in the new year. There have been plenty of teams who've had an amazing streak for months and then it all went to shit due to a couple of injuries and/or overall team suckiness. They lost their momentum.
I'm glad for Leafs fans that their team is finally doing well after dozens of years, but there's a lot of time left.
